What’s with the whistling at the end of the video? Haven’t heard anything like that since, ‘A Fist Full Of Dollars’! Anyway, that video is the very first time I’ve watched a High Point pistol perform flawlessly and without jamming – even once!

My real world experience with these pistols is that I’ve never seen one work for, say, an hour or more on any firing line I’ve ever been on without jamming at least once. In fact, I’m tempted to say, ‘Almost any pistol is going to run better.’

Would I carry a High Point pistol for self-defense? Nope, not me! Would I use one as a, ‘nightstand gun’? Again, nope, not me. Seen way too many of them bind up and fail and way too often, too.

Who cares about great factory service? I don’t want any factory service at all. Personally, I’d much rather purchase a well used 1911 pattern or some heavily beat up Glock pistol, rebuild it if I have to, and use that for any serious self-defense.

High Point pistols? They’re OK as, ‘range toys’, I guess. If you’ve got to have something that goes, ‘Bang!’ One of these things will go, ‘Bang!’ for ya; the only question is for how long?

They should ask the robber if he has any thoughts on robbing the store again. I think the guy with the cc did good. Maybe his actions will deter others from trying robbing honest citizens.

The chocolate bar is a secret ingredient used by a restaurant to give their chili a deeper color, sweetness and cut down on the acidity of the tomatos over time. Chili is delicious but heartburn isn’t!

I normally look at where an item is from brfore I buy anymore. With more and more companies moving overseas. I buy only American. If I need something that I can’t find that I need and is only manufactured overseas I build it myself. The only overseas products that I buy are German, British, Italian, and some Japanese. Those companies generally manufacture high quality stuff. Now this Groupon I’m not famillair with. But if there having sales like your talking about the are probably ordering Chinese. I always look at the Manufactuer and I also know how to read bar codes for source country.

Nice story. I use to live in Moline Illinois, and have been to Geneseo a few times. I have a friend that lives there and works at Springfield Armory.
