How can anyone see a PD at 600 yards? I have a hard time seeing ground hogs at 200 with 7x35 binoculars.

I've heard or read of great shots with the 6mm but I've never had the pleasure of shooting one.

Oz,
You see PD's at long range with BIG glass. I have two 10to40X50mm and a 20X40mm on 22-250, .243, 6mm-.284. If your having trouble seeing ground hogs at 200yds with 7x35's I'd say it's time to buy some new bino's.

Hello Dave375hh, you are correct about needing big glass but anything over 10x shakes to much. Maybe at 63 shorter ranges, less weight, etc. makes varment hunting more of a joy. Read a story once about a guy out hunting. Saw, on low power, what he thought was something worth shooting turned the power to 18 and saw the landowners pet dog. Big glass is a real help. Still 600 yards, 6 football fields, is a long way off.
