LOL funny story...last year I was outside wearing PJ shorts and flip-flops....almost stepped on a 2 foot copperhead...I squalled, jumped, almost shat myself, and ran back to the house to regroup. A few minutes later my next-door neighbor pulled into her driveway to see me in nothing but shorts and knee-high boots patrolling my yard with my tactical mossberg at full "combat-ready" firing position.
