I'm not sure it really matters... These men wheter diests or Christians created the most perfect documents (second only to the Bible) ever created by mens hands. They knew that wheter you were a diest, Christian, Jew or whatever that certain rights are not given by men but rather endowed by their Creator. It doesn't really matter what name you give the creator or how you worship him, it only matters that these rights are given to us by Him and man has no right to take them away.
Many of our Forefathers were Freemasons and it is evident in the founding documents they made. The beliefs and teachings of Masonry are in perfect alignment with our Constitution and Declaration of Independance. This may cause me to catch a lot of flak but this country is a grand Masonic experiment!! And a very sucessful one at that!!
