our own civilians break laws everyday...even cops...besides the first count is a misdemeaner..second count probably would be too

I can show you cops who break the law everyday..today in the Pensacola paper a swat team member was in trouble for kidnapping his girlfriend (a cop too) and repeatedly bashing her face into the dashboard...hardly a misdemeaner..

how about the fact they could be held as guilty of tax evasion for not paying any taxes, no drivers licenses, falsifing documents, no insurance and I am sure if I pulled out a few penal codes I could come up with plenty more.

hen I was in PRK as a cop I took more fake ID's and SSN cards off illegals it was nuts -- having falsified government documents is a felony in some states and of course now the big issue is identity theft. then of course there are the homes and farms they trash inside of our borders as they cross

The Mexicans are doing jobs that spoiled Americans won't even touch. No health insurance or benefits. They are all low payed, low skilled jobs.

Whose going to do the dirty work that these illegals do when there gone? I doubt any of us here would do it. The costs for everything these people do would go way up, as bussiness would have to pay more for everything - wages, taxes etc.
Don't get me wrong I'm all for tightning up the borders and kicking out illegals but who is going to fill the void? Where will the tax money come from that business are paying and the tax coming out of the workers checks come from? I just want to be a realist in this. Yes they are illeagals. Most of our ancestors came here by choice or force to make a better way. It wasn't illegal back then because the Indians didn't have immagration on the books.
I think Bush is just trying to find a medium here albiet not a happy one. The illegals don't like it because they would have to registar then leave after three years. They just want to stay and keep working and send money home. Conservative don't like giving in to the illegal problem but don't want to fork over the money to make the border secure either.
I just see two sides to this coin.

Cool If I may offer my 2 cents worth...

I got no problem with immagration. I do have a problem with rewarding criminals for thier criminal behavior. Not only should they, the illegals, be deported but, they should be shot for thier crime. Once again, reward those who break the rules and screw those who try to obey the law and follow procedure. Bush, and I voted for him, makes me want to puke! God, if I only knew then what I know now. I think I would have done the unthinkable......vote for ALGORE! Our rights disappear a little more each day and out sourceing is the new buzz word. Now, for God's sake, he want to welcome criminals. Where does it end? Next election, I hope. He's no republican, I'm a republican and we don't do crap like this!

Ruf in some ways we are better off with Bush - Gore would have gotten on his knees crying and apologizing to Osama. We would have been completely disarmed by the U.N. and be addressing one another as Comrade like people in PRK do already

I just get so darn frustrated with these politicos. They beg for the vote, promise the moon and then, it seems, after everyone wants them......they screw us, and screw us and then, they screw us again and.....turn us over to their posse.....and then they screw us until we are raw! Does'nt Bush see we are bleeding! Darn, can't make a liveing now, just what I need, to compeate with some friggin' beaner for my next burrito? This crap has got to stop! I know I'm not alone in my anger over this. Make all the excuses you can, this is just not right.

Life under the dems would'nt be worth liveing, you are right. Guess I'll just have to stomach it,.....somehow. It's not like I have a choice about what they do. There's not a dime's worth of differance between the two parties anyway. It's always been the lesser of the two evils...It's just getting too hard to decide which is the lesser of the two....

Hopefully this kind of sentiment will spur 3rd and 4th parties. We can only hope...

so....because we have crooked cops in this country it is o.k. to reward criminals with citizenship?

two wrongs don't make a right

besides there are no more bad cops than there are bad dentists, priests, teachers, mecahnics, etc...
