Greetings. I've had this Mauser for 21 years and recently considered installing a chamber adapter to shoot the inexpensive milsurp 7.62x39mm ammo.
With the exception of the stock.. the barrel, curved-arm bolt, trigger guard and receiver's numbers are all matching.
The barrel was re-chambered for 30-06.
Would this rifle potentially have value in excess of $500 due to its majority of matching parts, although it's been re-chambered? (cost to buy 7.62x39 rifle; CZ/Hawkeye)
