| Hey Where Is All The SIG Classic P-Series Guys and Gals? West German Proofed SIG "Classic - P Series Selfloaders My first love, the above mentioned SIG in .45 caliber; with my second love being the 9m/m SIG P228. Where have all the SIG-SAUER "Classic" P-series lovers gone? Currently, I'm driving the West German version P220 with the date code of KF, making it a 95 model. And my little P228 wears a date code of KA; and it was manufactuered in 1990. Heck, the P228 wasn't even introduced until 1989; and mine has a relatively low S/N, with the import city stamped into the slide as Herndon, Va and not Exeter, New Hampshire. Both of these weapons are definitely keeper's.

I personally have a pair of Sig 225's. They are awesome pistols to say the least! Here's a link to one... http://www.geocities.com/incrediheel/Sig225 Welcome to gunandgame.com !

Ala Dan I have a P220 in 45 with the Lasermax system as a carry gun and love it the gun never jams and has ate every type of bullet I have put through the gun while experimenting with different loads.

I've got a P220 with night sites, teflon coating, deburring, and Hogue grips. It outshoots my dad's Kimber Custom shop CDP in .45. The Sig is by far the most accurate large calibered pistol I've ever shot.

Many good reports there guy's; I'm glad to hear each one of them! I've been some what involved with SIG's since July of 1988 when I acquired my first NIB .45 caliber SIG P220A. I have carried a P220 daily since then, both on and off duty. It has saved my bacon on several occassions; so I do not plan to switch!
