IMHO, civil unrest will start in 2013 When the debt-to-income ratio of the USA will become so bad that Foreign Govt.s will no longer loan to the USA by buying T-bills. The states that are 'broke' now will ask the Feds for bailout money to meet the state's welfare payments. The Feds won't have that money to bailout the states. THEN the welfare masses will riot and spread out across the country trying to 'take' what is 'theirs' by force. Other groups like the illegals will join in the rioting with their own agenda. Anarchy will start in pockets of LA, NY City, Phoenix, Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, etc. and spread. Martial law will be declared. The thoroughly fed up middle classes will band together in militias and will fight both the rioters and the Feds. The USA economy will evaporate and we will stagnate for several years. Part of the Southwest will be taken by Mexico. Russia will take over our interests in Europe, China will take over in the Far East. The Muslim people of the middle east will fall into general warfare among themselves. When it is all shook out over five to ten years, China will be the most powerful nation in this world.
