When a hurricane is coming, the first clue people on the surface get is the appearance of cirrus clouds at high altitude, which rapidly bank down into the storm front we all know too well. In the political arena, the first wisps of anti-Obama cirrus have arrived.
The first one was the election of Republican Scott Brown to replace Ted Kennedy in a Senate seat that had been held by the Democrats for more than fifty years. The next one comes from West Virginia, where a pro-Obama Democrat was whipped in the Democratic Party primary.
