Bought mine new 7/99 and have a tad over 7,000 rds thru it without a hiccup. The only uniqueness to mine is that it came brand new with a factory blackened stainless slide, normal 92FS black alloy frame, black rubber grips, and it has a slightly shorter barrel than a stock 92FS, maybe 1/8 to 1/4". I haven't really measured. Just put the barrels side to side. I have heard it referred to informally as a "Cajun" on the Beretta Forum. Recently I did get a new factory stock 92FS barrel and locking block on the Beretta Forum to "save" my unique shorter barrel and locking block. Why? No idea. Also changed to a 92D main spring. It is a little easier on the first double action shot but not significant. Every little bit helps on that shot! I have shot it in both IPSC and IDPA and love it.
