| we use .22's anything bigger would do to much damage darn near every part of that gator is used nuthing goes to waist. one good pop in the head and he's dead. we done took 11+ footers with .22 never needed anything bigger. and to think some folks say a .22 can't drop a deer i tell you what that gator hide is 10 times thicker and stronger than a deer hide.
