Rabbit Dogs:

Sure do miss the sound of my uncle's Beagles on a frosty morning. We had some good times. But they and their dogs have all gone on to the big hunt. Any more of you out there that had that privilage? To be able to hunt with hounds and men that knew what they were doing and what its all about.

NO, I WAS NOT FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO KNOW DOGS LIKE THAT, BUT I AM SEARCHING FOR A GOOD BEAGLE TO HAVE AS A RABBIT CHASER/ GOOD BUDDY THOUGH. WAITING TO MOVE TO A MORE RURAL AREA SO'S HE HAS SOME ROOM TO RUN!

I have 2 Beagles. One I got from a guy that breeds them for hunting. His name is Rocky and I don't hunt but there is a farm behind my house. One day the farmer cut his grass in the field. Rocky just about jumped the 6' fence because he saw a rabbit 100 yards away running across the field. I could tell Rocky was from hunting stock. Well I'm going to start hunting this year.
