only one gun

I know a guy who doesn't own a gun..at all..believe it or not..wants one..likes my SKS..which isn't a bad gun..inexpensive to acquire and shoot :assult: If you didn't have a gun..hypothetically (unless you're like me..I don't have a gun but if I did it would be a handgun

)

what would you get first ?

A Shotgun would be first (but certainly not last!) - with the broad ammo selection, you can hunt any game and use it for defense - it covers all the bases.

If I could have only one gun it would be an SKS with a folding stock and flame supresser with the cone to divert the blast like the Krinkov,if it works with a 10" barrel it should work with a 16" one. I could carry lots of ammo in stripper clips if on the move.:assult:

I like Jay A's answer of the Swede but thats because it one of my favorites.
Shotgun would be first.
Only gun would be a .45 Colt revolver.

If I started all over again I'd start with the mausers. Prices have skyrocketed here for a good mauser. I'd get more Swedes.
