anybody know anything about this gun i bought. gkk92c...i need mags and new grips...also somebody polished all the bluing off/nice and shiny but in the white. any ideas on a home brew finish....bought some birch/casey perma blue.......ive emailed eveybody ...and no news thanks mike..cool forum by the way..

I don't have any "home brew" methods but I like the Birchwood Casey products as well as standard wood finishing products like Minwax, etc. Spar varnish is excellent for a really hard final finish. As far as bluing, Brownells' Oxpho-Blu (sp?) is a really good cold blue. Call Brownells @1-800-741-0015 or go to www.brownells.com for a catalog that will keep you drooling for weeks to come. Sorry guy, I just reread your post and realized you were asking about bluing instead of wood finish but as I said, Brownells is the largest supplier of gunsmithing/refinishing supplies in the world and Midway has a good selection as well, www.midwayusa.com or go to Walmart and look in the sporting goods dept. for the book "Gunsmithing at Home" by John Traister-it has a couple of home bluing solutions and procedures that are too involved to list here. Good luck!

man this thing shoots great ,aliminum case cci blazer,silver bear and santa barbara hollow pionts...eat it like candy...just finished my 1st blue job...birchwood caseys and a hair dryer...3 coats with a wash in soap and water and a remlube polish between every coat...was real swirly like case hardening but polished out really nice..im happy...just sanded the grips smooth and recoated in some orange glow all weather wood grain or wood cleaner and polish...they turned out wild looking..dang good gun...for 140.00 plus ship and ffloff gunbroker...mike.
