.22 Reed Express

We are now going into production of the .22 Reed Express for the Contender. Any interest? Basicly it has the power and performance of the .22 Hornet, without the sensitivity to powder and bullet selection.

I like my T/C's to where I can stick my finger down the barrel. A so called Redneck judge of caliber size. Too small for me!

What if say, it happened to be a T/C in .25 WSSM? hmmm...? What then?
Hey, wait a minute, 21" BBL, fast powder, that was a joke that might turn into a viable thing. I mean we already load specific for the Savage Sierra UL (300WSM in 21" BBL).
Let me know what you think.................

It's here now jarcp.

The new 25 WSSM from Winchester® Ammunition is the latest in the WSSM line-up of super short calibers. It utilizes the same diameter bullet (.257) and produces comparable ballistics to the long action 25-06 Rem. and 257 Roberts and easily outclasses the whitetail standout, 7mm-08 Rem. However, the 25 WSSM is considerably shorter, chambering nicely in the super-short action of the Model 70. This makes for a lighter, faster handling rifle. Those looking for the ultimate whitetail cartridge need look no further, 25 WSSM has arrived

Oh, I know the ammunition is here, but (Major) factory ammunition is always limited in what it can do. We have the ability to offer a broader range of bullet selection, usually faster and/or more accurate ammunition, rifle specific ammunition, and all at a lower cost. While the .22 Reed Expess is a Wildcat, it's the only one we have (so far) and is just an off-beat project. Our core business is ammunition production.
