Question The New Walther G22

http://www.waltheramerica.com/g22.htm

I know how some of you guys like bullpups so I didnt know if you had found this one yet. Looks pretty cool, looks like it would work. But the one question I have is the left-handed control part. I am left-handed, proud of it, but I have never been able to shoot a bullpup because of the position of the action. Now, I would suspect that the action would have to be on the left side, wouldnt you? Kind of looks like something new to play around with.

I'm a lefty also. I shoot right handed and do most things as a right person might. When I went to school, the teacher used to smack my knuckles with a ruler....I soon learned to write so it appeared as if written by a right handed person!

I think it would be a great gun to buy. Just a .22 that is compact. I like how there is a second mag farther back in the stock. And the accessories rails are all over the place. Might not be a bad gun to buy. Just wait for the prices to drop a little maybe.

Problem is I cant find a left-handed one. They are pretty rare as right handed so who knows how much a lefty will cost.

That's what Communist Cuba did to left handed people They would beat the left handed kids till they wrote right handed.

we had a guy at the shop buy one, i have shot it at the club on the indoor range (50') it shot two ten shot groups off hand at less than 1" one raged hole. it shoots better than my 10/22 and almost as well as my target gun. at this range. it was raining prety hard and was dark so we didn't take it outside to shoot on a longer range.
it shot smooth no jams or malfunctions of any kind and was easy to load and change mags quickly.
we put a brick through it and had allot of fun with it.
YES joe they are about as ugly as a hi-point. we had two of them there as well one in 40 the other in 9mm i hate to say it but the 9 shot better. I'm still waiting for one in 45 before i buy one.
but this lil 22 was a must have down the road. from what i have seen so far it will make a great lil camp gun, or a back country squirl gun. even if it is ugly.

Walther's Retail Price says:

$399 for both right or left handed in both black or military green
You can order accessories for the gun from the company.
I would just order the free catolog for more information. It gives alot more about the gun than the web site.
I have seen them on www.gunbroker.com for about $346.
Im still waiting on a lefty to show up.

I think they will get cheaper as time flys by. Almost to rich for my redneck blood. Looks to fancy for my redneck blood too. Just got done cleaning the ol farm .22. I think there is dirt from the dirty thirties on it.
