I carry a Taurus TCP everywhere and feel completely safe. That being, I also carry a 9mm when I'm wearing enough clothes to cover it properly. The .380 is the only pistol I have small enough to be comfortable in my waistband. As others have said, no one is lining up to get shot by a .380.
