Well, kid... rumor has it that Elvis was watching one of his multiple TVs (way before "windows", the only way you could watch several things at once was to have several TVs side by side...which he did)... and Robert Goulet was on one screen singing; to which Elvis exclaimed, "Robert Goulet?! I hate that SOB. *BOOM*"
And there ya have it. True or not, it's been written into scenes of biographical movies and documentaries with the blessing of the Elvis Presley Estate (who is usually VERY picky about how things are depicted).
