You'll need ~ $100 for a 91/30 MN and $180 for 880 [yes -- eight hundred eighty] rounds. Go to town with it at big targets at 300 yards plus. So what if it is 3-4 MOA to start with? Practice on the CHEAP and when you get consistantly on target with that rifle, you can graduate to something more expensive. I love challenging myself with iron sights...fundamentals!
