This is mean and well, just horrible.
The first lady is not going there to talk about gun control
she never talks about politics at all the children she goes and sees
a visit by the first lady is a big deal for the kids
that is mean to those children.
So
the gun control activists want to hate bush but all they have is that he didnt sighn a AWB bill that congress never got to his desk?
they are trying to hang this on GWB when he is actually blameless
and that FACT is what galls them more than anything.
their issue was sidestepped by the congress because the majority of the people DONT WANT GUN CONTROL.
They believe So much in their cause and it is lost.
so they do things like this.
