| They were mfg,d from 1929-67.They were octigon barrel until 1940 and round after that.checkered pistol grip on early and plain on newer. Check Numrich Arms and Bob's Gunparts (both online). Check Savage website. Altho they don't sell parts to vintage Savage guns, they do provide a list of vendors/gunsmith who either do or work on them. Next is watch the gun auction websites for a "parts gun". Good luck. | |
