M1A walnut stock

Hi all, I have a new M1a SA rifle , the back part of the receiver do not seat on the stock and this create a gap between the metal and the wood. i would like to replace the stock with a boyds one, but they don't sell it with the metal included. Any one know where i can find a boyds stock with all the metal included , expecially the front swivel. I have found something on ebay but I prefer to buy it from a store or a gunsmith. Is this gap really influence the accuracy of the rifle ? I usually shoot in stand position at 100 yds with metal sight. Tks BR ric

just like the garand, its supposed to have a slight gap between the stock and the heel of the reciever.
