I was tempted to wax philosophical, as
Seabee said, but I resisted in my previous posts to this thread. The humorous side seemed more appropriate, at the time.
Now that everyone's nervous laughter, about getting old and dying, has been dispensed, it may be more appropriate to put some reflection into the question.
I go to the range, blow holes in stuff, and chew the air with other folks there. It seems to temporarily satisfy the social interaction need, but it is still not the same as talking or shooting with a good friend.
Perhaps the lack of friends is independent of the lack of money, after all.
