I Found It

I went to a gun range with BRG3 on Friday, and shot a few different firearms. I did manage, however, to find my choice when I turn 21 (and become a resident of PA).

I'm going to get a Beretta U22 Neos. I found this website where you can customize it with your specs:

http://www.berettausa.com/promotion/U22/neos_land.htm#

My specs are:
all black (with the exception of a red rear sight)
4.5 barrel

Can't wait til my birthday!

The Neos is a great little pistol, I did quite a bit of research on them when I was considering buying a Neos Carbine. You can't beat it for a $200 semi auto .22 pistol

We fired quite a few rounds out of it with NO jams. My 10-22 jammed quite a few times. The carbine's a bit too expensive for my tastes though. I'll stick with standard manufacturers' carbines, like Ruger, Marlin, and such.

Yeah I decided to buy a 10/22 and customize it rather than buying a $350 .22

I could, but I kind of like it in it's handgun form better. Maybe once I get it and play around with it.....

get BRG3 to buy it, because if you buy in NJ, you'll have to go through the mill to get permission from the state, scads of background checkes, and months of delays before they decide that you are not a criminal or terrorist.

Actually I'm becoming a PA resident and moving out here when I graduate (about the time I turn 21 anyway). That way I can bypass NJ's dumb laws.
