I think it's all buried until it gets to .......wherever it goes...... They're wonderful, but too costly for folks like us. They don't do well in lightning storms and constantly require maintenance. There's a guy that doesn't live too far from my brother-in-law who has one. It doesn't generate anymore. After the second lightning strike, the guy couldn't afford the labor to fix it again. Now it's nothing more than "yard art"........
