Even if our children are in local schools we can home school. Sit with your kids each night and read about our founding fathers and what they had in mind for this county. Don't let the government tell them what they want them to know. YOU be a responsible parent and American and teach your children the truth.

We are going to get in government what we have in public. There are way to many people who sit around and complain but never vote. You might be surprised how many people you know who don't bother to vote.

1 day a week, a few hours on that day isn't to much to ask from anyone to help others. Work at a soup kitchen, clothing closet or maybe mow the elderly neighbors yard. Stop being so self centered.

While you may have it nice there are hard working people out there that don't have it nice. Care if your neighbors need basic things. Do you see their children outside in the winter time with out a coat. Each of us can take care of one little detail to help the lives of our neighbors.

There are a lot of folks in this country right now without jobs. Oh, they use to have jobs at factories and while they didn't make great money they made enough to keep food on the table. Now those jobs are gone. Think about this each and ever time you buy an imported product.

You say American products cost more money. This is what I tell my children. Do you REALLY need three new shirts? How about you get one and get it made by an American worker. It might cost more but ALL of us have to do our parts to keep American jobs. We use to save for what we wanted. We didn't have to have everything right this min. Save to get things.

We complain about our government, and rightfully so, but each of us can help make our country strong right in our own neighborhood.

I think there is a spirit deep in most of us that wants this country strong and proud again. Nothing is going to happen if all we do is talk about it. Do your part.
