It's the perfect battle rifle, it's silly to not use it.

Should have stuck with that rifle...they were worried about the wood stocks rotting in 'Nam...now we got all kinds of synthetic stocks for them...I believe that is a synthetic stock in the photo with the camo pattern made in it...not painted.

maybe we need a 527 group to stand with us on this? we could call em "swiftboat vets for the 308"! worked wonders getting rid of another useless thing that tried weasling his way into the government!

THRAWN

THIS IS ANOTHER POLITICAL MOVE TO IMPROVE ON THE LACK OF POWER OF THE 223 IN SITUATIONS LIKE FELLUSHIA. THE OLD M14 IN 308 IS THE WAY TO GO...LONGER DISTANCE, GOES THRU DOORS AND CLAY WALLS. YOU MAY HAVE MORE AMMO CAPABILITY IN THE 223, BUT THE 308, M14
WON'T JAM UNDER THE HARSHEST OF CONDITIONS-BELIEVE ME I USED ONE ON THE ARMY IN THE EARLY 60'S-AND GOES BANG WITH LOTS OF POWER EVERY TIME. ANOTHER BULLET LIKE THE 6.8 WOULD ONLY COMPLICATE MATTERS.

The 223 Is Designed To Wound, And The Theory Is That The Enemy Would Lose More Men On The Combat Line By Saving Their Wounded Buddies. However, The Enemy Leave Their Wounded Only To Plant Bombs Or Grenades On These Wounded To Take Out Gi S. An M14 Is Much More Devistating And Will Take Out An Enemy Permanently In Most Cases.

Two component Urethanes typically work well with plastics. Thats what's on a lot of the painted automotive plastic parts.

The 6.8 seems to be about the same and the 7.62 X 39 Russian. Just what we need, a round that can't do it's job past 150 yard.
