Arby,
Depending on price, absolutly. 1975 was the last year for the Safari series. Mine is a .375 H&H that shoots like a varmint rifle. All the '06 length and mag cal. came on an FN 400 series mag action with controled round feed. The shorter .222 to .308 Safari rifles were built on Sako actions. Actually "Safari" is a grade of the "Browning Bolt Action Rifle" There were also Pidgeon, Dianna, & Olimpian grades above Safari.

If you think you want a gun buy it and never look back.

LMAO... That's what I've been doing all my life, and why I have guns I haven't seen in 20years. I'm older and more responsible now, so I thought I'd at least think about it for a day.

Buy Buy. It reminds me of a Gun show once. Saw a Winchester Mod 42 and a Marlin Mod 90 combination gun both for $500 each. Walked around for a while and went back and both were gone. After that I now buy and think about it later if ever. I.E if I like it buy it.
