| Registered User | I have been shooting one or more times a week. My Hi-Point .380 keeps jamming.... I've tried new clips, cleaning, and different loads... It still does it! Bought it brand new about 6 mo. ago and have ran over 500 rounds in it. Can anyone help with this problem or know what to do or is it just the quality of the gun? |

| Moderator ![]() | My Hi-Point does NOT like semi wad cutter ammo. I have a .380 and tried some of the Winchester target rounds from Wal-Mart that come 100 rounds for about $17. Those rounds jammed every so often in both my Bersa and my Hi-Point. I use ball ammo in both guns and have no problems. Also, are your magazines after market mags? Factory direct mags are cheapest ($15 including shipping for an eight round mag or $18 for a ten round mag) and obviously designed for the weapon. | Senior Member | You could use it for a paperweight. Or buy another one and use them for bookends. Just kidding!! welcome to the forum, Regardless of what Joe says I have had no problem with my HI-point 40 using winchester ammo. You can ship a gun to the factory for repairs without going through an FFL, I think.
