Good Looking Auction

Hey Folks,
I'm new here and thought I'd start off with a heads up on what looks like a good firearms auction I heard about yesterday. It's going to be in March in NE Wisconsin, about 5 miles from my place. Seems to be a one owner collection with lots of other stuff besides some nice looking guns. I figured I would share the find since I am pretty much broke and won't be able to pick up much myself. The company that is having the auction is Superior Auction & Appraisal and they have a website that shows pictures and has a list of firearms on it. I don't think I can post a link here, can I? Anyway, you can do a search for the company to check it out, looks like a good one.
This looks like a great site, looking forward to hanging out and reading all the news from you folks. I finally got a big buck this year so maybe I can find somebody that wants to hear about it! You know I'll be ready to talk about that!!

Thanks for the heads-up - somebody can make use of that, I'm sure.
I've never been lucky enough to fine an estate auction with guns being sold. I have seen the guns a few range friends have bought from those auctions, and they have often been real beauties! One buddy lucked into two GI M1 Carbines, for a price that would've been excellent just for one!

Well, dive on in, and let us know your firearm interests - we have a forum for most anything!

I've actually had good luck with guns and other stuff up here. There are alot of estate auctions and there are quite a few of those that have firearms of one sort or another. This one looks like it might be the motherload! I've been doing more research on the gun list and wow, this guy must have been at it for a long time! It's hard to say what the prices will be like, it depends on how many people show up. I have a feeling it will attract some heavy hitters from the list and pictures I've seen so far. They've got collector rifles and shotguns, military weapons (old and new) and even some real good handguns. There's piles of reloads and loading equip, manuals the whole deal. Wish I could just go buy the whole thing and have a ready-made collection! That'd be cool but !!!! pricey!
Anyway, my favorite gun is the one I bought when I was 13 yrs old! A bolt, 30-06 Savage-Stevens. About as plain as you can get but it's downed as many deer over the years as any gun out there! It has great balance and shoulders as good as any gun I've ever hunted with. I like shotguns and have a nice 37 Ithaca and a Remington 1148 Semi that's a smoothie.
