Good shooting What a shot! We have a neighbor that keeps letting his german shepard get loose and the darn thing growls at people and attacks other dogs.I have talked with him but he still does it.This morning I saw it and got my Crossman pumpup out and got ready with 10 pumps behind a bb.When it came by at about 35yds I held about 6" in front of its nose and let fly.It jumped and yipped and took off for home. Some of us old fa*** can still shoot even if I cant get out much anymore.First"kill" in quite a while. sam.

Good shot - I hate people that don't keep there dogs where they are supposed to be - mainly at their own house! I have been having a few issues around the house here - I read the State law on animal cruelty a couple nights ago - it specifically excluded BB guns that didn't have enough power to permanently injury the animal. I though that was very cool - looks like a red rider is in my future!

My problem is I love dogs and believe all dogs are good, they just have mean stupid owners. Instead of hurting the dog why not get to the owner. If a dog goes home with a big hunk of smelly roadkill or maybe gets some skunk scent pored on him they may start to keep him at home. I had the same problem years ago. At the time I was trapping and had all kinds of really stinky stuff on hand. This neighbor that I really liked had a beautiful golden retriever that they let run all over the neighborhood. It was a house pet. It would crap in the yard and get into the trash and make a mess. I sent that dog home one day smelling so bad I almost puked my ownself. Well the kids let the dog in the house and the next thing you hear is mama hollering and sceaming at that dog. She chased him through the hole house for a good 10 minutes before she could get that dog out. I laughed my you know what off. After a couple of times they made a nice pen for the dog and things were cool.
