| Registered User | I have both a .410 single shot new england firearms shotgun, and a ruger 10/22. It's pretty accurate and isn't very much. Can go pick it up at Wal-mart for 80 to 100 dollars. The .22 is accurate and fun too. But if your looking for an air rifle, big 5 has them on sale alot! |

| Member | Keep in mind you get what you pay for. $100 isn't going to get you a quality Spring-piston airgun- period. Start with a budget- what your willing to spend in total, then what your MOST common target will be- either paper, cans, starlings, squirrels, etc, and then the most average range you feel you'll need to shoot. Figure those out first, and you can wind up with a much better rifle, even on such a limited budget. |

| Senior Member | Well, seeing as how you're in the air rifle section and want something reasonable, get the Gamo Shadow combo. Gamo Shadow .177 Cal. Air Rifle With 3-9x40 Mm Scope, Matte Black, Air Guns/Paintball, Gamo at Sportsman's Guide Or this one, only 765fps but it'll work. Less money also. Beeman Dual Caliber Air Rifle With Scope And Carry Bag, Air Guns/Paintball, Beeman at Sportsman's Guide Also, what kind of pest problem?

Trader Rating: (0) | Your asking about a air gun, don't bother with the elcheapo pump ups buy a springer action air rifle in 22 cal. the 22 will be slower than the .177 but will have more energy to knock down you larger game targets. a reasonable priced Gamo will do if you update the trigger with a charlieda tuna kit.--JMJ-- |
