You can use 3 in one

But you really don't need lube.

If you own a break barrel that's of quality I'd recommend air gun products because it will not detonate. Some oils will cause an internal explosion resulting in erratic pellet fps which in turn results in erratic accuracy. The rule of thumb is to not lubricate unless you hear squeaking which will be caused by dryness. Too much lube is not good.

Petro based lubes .

I heard that to shoot and have a little tannish haze out the barrel, re-lubeing every 300-350 rounds
I had a 1960's benjamin, and a late 1970's crosman that I would like to nurse along

Aren't those guns multiple pneumatic pumps instead of break barrels?

In a manuel I had for an airgun I bought about 4 years ago it says Slick 50 for lube. Shoot er a few times to get excess lube out and yer set for a few hundred rounds. Cleaning isn't really nessary with airguns. But if you do some of those pellets that clean are good.
