Thumbs up My Spanish Lady's new dress . . .

Well, the wood finish was looking like crap - just couldn't get it to co-operate.
So, I gave her a camo job, similar to my Bushpup. Works out nicely for the woods down here, 4-seasons.

why is it that CETME's are looked upon as junk by the gun snobs at gun shows?? are they that bad??

Those that think they are junk aren't owners. We like our CETME's - excellent value for the price!
You can pay another C-note or two for the HK - you get the same rifle, with a few cosmtic differences. Same exact receiver.
I prefer to put that extra money into more ammo!

ok this may sound like blasphemy here but i am seriously considering selling my CETME and getting a FAL maybe with imbel receiver or DSA arms version

Not blasphemy at all - go with what you prefer. I like the looks of the FAL, and a buddy has one that shoots great. But, something about that stock design just doesn't fit my face. I can't get a decent cheekweld when using earmuffs.
