squirrel/rabbits hunting in sacramento area?

hello

does anyone know where/what i can hunt with my .22 rifle around the Sacrament/Davis CA area legally?

getting bored at the range

i don't think you can do anything with a firearm legally in CA. anymore.

Not true - you can still hunt. There are hunter safety courses at almost all local ranges.

do as you see fit but it's not that bad. Even LA county has hunters training.

what is the point of taking hunting courses if you got nowhere to hunt? i wonder what happend if you caught with a firearms in yosimite park.

plenty of game up north. I'm not much into it but know people who regularly bag deer and the occasional bear.
