64fxp .22lr

Hello

i have the savage 64fxp .22lr. Its came with a 4x15 scope, what is a more suitable scope for this gun? i dont want anything too much, cuz its just a .22

p.s. would something like a 4-9x40 be good ?

I like the little Simmons 3-9X32 for most basic twentytwo plinking rifles. Should run under thirty bucks at Wally Mart. For more serious shooting, I go
to either a 3-9X40 or Bushnell's 4-12X40AO. The Bushnell runs about $70 at Wally's.
The little 4X15's aren't very good .22 scopes - okay to start a yonker on, but you do need something better.

I thought my Nikon 4 x 40 ($100) was perfect for a rifle--until I put the Bushnell holo sight on...
