Plan on dumping another $100 to nix the plastic parts (if your opposed to such parts). Other than that, It's a fine pistol

my blued 1991 has an aluminium trigger and mainspring housing, i beleive it was a factory option. what other parts are plastick on the Colt.

Iv'e seen just the trigger and mainspring hsg. made of plastic on every 1991 Iv'e seen. Don't make it bad, just different.

I've had mine about ten years now, still got those plastic parts too. No problems! Just don't use cheapo magazines, and mine doesn't like Speer ammo - otherwise, never a burp!!
