SMC-918 on the way!

My latest purchase, a nearly-new FEG SMC-918, should be arriving next week. I've been looking for one of these (or the military variant R-61) for quite some time now, and I'm quite excited that I was lucky enough to come across one for sale. It has less than 300 rds through it, is in mint condition. Got it for $225 shipped.

Gotta love a PPK-sized gun chambered in 9x18.

Well I just got back from taking possession of my new SMC-918 during my lunch break. The gun really does look like new, I'm very pleased and excited.

Tonight I'll break it down, clean it up, lube, see if anything needs some fluffing and buffing, and do some snap-cap exercises. Hopefully I'll get it out to the range this weekend.
