What was your first?

Ok... Someone asked what kind of knife you all carry.

What was your first gun? (And not that Daisy Red Rider you got when you were 6)

I had a Remington model 6 .22 rolling block that I had have repaired. I even made some of the parts In high school shop class.

Hey...O-missing one...you can fool some of the people some of the time, and you can fool some of the people all of the time, and you can fool all of the people some of the time...but you can't fool all of the people all of the time. Oh well...you know what I mean! :joker:

My first gun was a Pedersoli reproduction 1763 shortened pattern Brown Bess Dragoon Carbine. Flintlock ignition, 75 caliber smooth bore. Been through hell and back and sure does show it.

Regarding GR-Joe, you guys sure have a way of killing a subtle appearance.

Talking 18 and no firearm buying knowledge.

A No. 4 Enfield that is badly bubba'd and that lacks anything resembling rifling.

The seller seen me a mile away, told me that it was a "rare short stock" version, and I never thought to check the rifleing. $190.00@ 8 years ago. I've learned ALOT about mil-surps since then.:cheer: If it was'nt for my first SKS it's likely that would've been my last mil-surp, or firearm. Left a bad taste for a couple of years.

anybody want to buy a super rare enfield for 200.00

:ballons: Mine is a pardner SB-1 in 12 ga. Still have it with slightly shorter barrel and an adjustable choke I got off a junk barrel in a bucket for $5.00. No one mentioned that thing was hard soldered together.
