Considering that this forum has a great number of vets I was wondering how many of us are members of The Veterans of Foreign Wars, The American Legion, or the DAV?

Also...if any wives are auxiliary members?

I am a proud life member of the VFW and an active member of the American Legion.

In fact I am the Vice Commander for my VFW post and my wife is an active member and participant in the Ladies Auxiliary VFW.

We make every attempt to find out which locals are overseas (particularly in Iraq and Afghanistan) and we get 'care packages' together for them.

I think it's important to let all vets and current service personnel know that for all of our freedoms and rights we have them to thank. :nod:
