Walther P99 question . . .

I own a Walther P99, and I would like to determine its date of manufacture. Is there a resource somewhere where serial numbers are listed by date/year?

Any info or advice would be very appreciated.

Because the P99 is a recent development by S&W/WaltherAmerica perhaps you can contact WaltherAmerica by email and they should be able to oblige....http://www.waltheramerica.com/custserv.html

The P-99 was also made by Walther in Germany before S&W started there production, Check the reciever for the place of manufacture, if it is indeed Germany then your have an earlier model. I have one in .40 cal.
