| Bill of Rights I have pondered the concept, that the 1st ORIGINAL bill of rights, should be made "un-amendable". That would mean, the ones that Thomas Jefferson really wrote doesn't get "legislative or judicially" screwed with. Kind of like the 10 commandments, Cut into stone never to be altered or rescended. what do you all think?

| Super Moderator ![]() | The amendment process was made to expand the Constitution ever so carefully, never to be used to undo it. The 16th Amendment was the first go go against the original constitution instead of simply enumerating more freedom than already granted. Guess what it did that was forbidden in the original? Income tax.

| I think that for every right of yours the Gov violates, you should be able to reduce your taxes by 10%.

| Senior Member | There needs to be a Lazy Goverment Amendment lawmakers are entirely too busy, and the people aren't supposed to be perpetually fighting for their rights while paying taxes through the !!!. There needs to be a revolution, i'm not talking a bloody one. The goverment neeeds a serious overhaul, so we can stop worrying about losing our rights and getting f---ed by politicians every single day. This is the 21st century, and I want my guns, free spech, privacy, fair tax... its like software, its time for an upgrade. What we have now is America 1.79201b. It's time to cut the crap out, and polish up the rest, so we can have in America 2.0, much more productive. |
