That’s cool, the sword cut some bullets in half!

But, can a sword-wielding goblin cut all my bullets if I dump a full 10-round mag at him? I'll keep the .45. :right:

I've seen one by the same people, they put a katana up against a .50 BMG machine gun (katana doesn't last long)

no Big dog, you are right I would rather have a gun any day, but you have to admit that it was cool seeing the bullets get cut in half as they hit the sword.

hmmm, funny at first but i wonder ... what if someone were to load a 1911 with rubber bullets and get a modern day japanese sword master on the business end a couple of yards out. with practice the master could probably line the barrel up with his blade and sort of keep the movement synchronised... when your magazine is empty he'll come in for the kill.

it could happen

Ok guys it is just a video. Have you ever heard of the phrase "Don't bring a knife to a gun fight"? I simply thought it was cool that the sword was cutting the bullets in half, believe me I would not want to be standing behind that sword, you would get hit by two projectiles instead of just one. I don't think that the sword would help you any.

Wink

if the blade was held a few feet in front of you and the bullet was cut near the center there is no way you would be injured by the 2 resulting projectiles. though you'd have to be either really desperate or really confident not to run like hell first.

bullet is made of lead and copper while a blade is made out of steel. i'm sure if the old ninja's were alive today they would figure it out

Red face

theres a legend that a ninja could stop arrows. and if I recall correctly, they're was also a guy on Ripley's Believe It or Not who could stop an arrow with his hands. now, i'm not saying an arrow is a bullet, but i'm sure they could adapt to modern times. :right:

hehe

Best way to keep someone from shooting you is to shoot them first, if some numbskull runs at you with a overpriced butcher knife shoot them too.
