:assult: :assult: :assult: :assult: :assult: G23 hands down, it's my daily carry. My pinky stays in the grip and can be easily concealed. Have the .40 punch and with 13rnds mags is dificult to beat, add a couple of G22 15rnd mags as backup and you got 44rnds at your disposal. :uzi: :uzi: :uzi: :uzi: :uzi:

I carry the Glock 22 for duty and when I'm not working the Glock 27 is always on my side.

Glad to hear that, you won't be disapointed. Use quality defence ammo, and no problems will arrise. I use Hydra-Shocks, Cor-Bon and Triton most of the time, also I've used with great reliability Gold Dots and Sabres. :gangster: :gangster: :gangster: :gangster: :gangster:

Neither, My choice for concealed carry is a 1911 government. I strongly dislike DAO's.

I've carried a Glock 30, with the finger rest Mag Caps it fits my hand well enough, I prefer the 1911A1 or Combat Commander, but they can be fussy about what type of rounds you feed them, the Glock will eat anything. I want to build a stainless steel Commander in .38 Super.

Steyr M40, designed by a disgruntled Glock employee whose ideas were ignored by Glock, who cared only to continue their successful line and forget any future innovation.

Glock 27 with 10 rounds of Winchester Ranger .40S&W 165gr SXT Talon "Law Enforcement Ammunition"; P/N: RA40TA. Then, depending on the situation, I also have an extra mag of 10 FMJ, and 2 G22 15-rounders with FMJ.

I have to ask, what GLOCK that you know of has fallen apart? I've owned my GLOCK 21 for over 12 years, it's fallen out of trees, been covered in mud, snowed on and never even misfired. My duty weapon is a GLOCK 17 same as all the men that work for me carry and I have not had a single problem with any of them. That's 15 men with 15 GLOCKS and yet again not a single misfire. This doesn't mean that no GLOCK has ever misfired or had other problems but to say, it's a toy and falls apart, I need examples or at least hearsay. I can respect if you just personally don't like the gun, that's your opinion and you're entitled to it but you can't deny the durability of the weapon. As for the thread's question, I carry a GLOCK 21 with Hydro-Shock in one full magazine and a mix of Hydro-Shock and FMJ in the other magazine. Last edited by mos19k; 05-28-2007 at 08:01 PM. | |
