National Match Rifle

Went to a local gun store to get a bore snake so I thought while I was there I might as well see what they had. So I go to the back to the corner of the store were they have the military guns and on the rack is a 1903. Trying to get a look at the price tag i notice it has a peep sight so instantly I'm thinkin National Match. So after waiting for the guy the help somebody look at Marlins. Finally I get a close look at the rifle the original rear sight had been removed and the hole left had been plugged with a metal plug that matched the parkerization perfectly. It had a lyman rear sight and a lyman globe sight on the front. I was trying to find nm on it some were but couldn't find it. It was $759 so I wasn't about to drop that much on it with out knowing what it is. So is this gun a custom or an actual national match?
