Holster For A Sig Gsr?

I Just Purchased A New Sig Gsr 1911. Does Anyone Know Where A Holster Can Be Purchased? I'm Looking For A Cordura For Work And Maybe Leather For Off Duty.

Try emailing Gary Green at ggreen3000@therim.com. He is with Pine Shadow Pouches. I have bought three holsters from him over the years.

Holster for GSR

Hey Chief,

I had the same problem. Believe it or not, Don Hume has a couple for the GSR and they are reasonably priced. No one else has started making them yet. I even contacted Milt Sparks, they have no plans on creating one anytime soon, but will custom make one if you send the gun. After shipping and all, I don't think it's worth it.

Good Luck

There was a guy here on G&G that was making gun leather a while back. Try searching the archives.

Is there any real reason that the SIG Chief just bought wouldn't fit into any Cordura nylon designed for any 1911 ? I know that the right holster made for the particular gun in leather is a more critical fit but it seems that he could test fit some at his local gunshop where they would have both there for him to look at. Good Luck Chief.

The Granite has a blockier profile than the standard 1911 due to the light rail.(I think! )
