| PM-11/NINE carbine issues. I have always been intrigued by the H&K MP5, and the idea of a small compact 9mm carbine with high capacity was very appealing to me. In an idea world I would have the disposable income to spend on an H&K 94...but it isn't the case.
And although my father and I collect mostly WWII era fire arms, I have interiste in more modern weapons as well as the classics, as well as firearms that are novel, and entertaining to shoot. (and show off, lol)
So we got a M-11 that has been fitted with a stock and extended barrle to make it a legal carbine, and although i haven't shoot it much, the sights are extremely primative and utilitarian. and when shouldered, the rear sight is completly blurred, making aiming a chore. I have looked at other posts about these weapons, and they address some of the issues that i'm having.
I know their are lasers available for them, but I would prefer a Red-Dot scope for a shouldered weapon, would we take the barrle and stock off, i wouldn't want to weight it down further with scope, since is not eaxactly a very balanced "pistol". And i'm sure that my concerns with accuracy might seem unusual when an M-11 is the subject gun at hand, sure it isn't exactly a marksman's choice.
any suggestions? comments? What scopes would be idea? |
