Brand Loyalty?

In reading my most current Guns & Ammo magazine, they are talking about brand name loyalty in an article about L.C. Smith shotguns:

"Americans are big on names, and most of us have our favorite brands for every significant product we use. Shooters are no exception, and firearm manufacturers are well aware of our propensity to name loyalty."

Is this true for you?

How many different brands of gun do you own?

Out of eight firearms no two are the same brand (at the moment)

Cheers Stephen

I tend to like Rugers since I have more of them than any other.
But after the Rugers I like "name brands" like Russian, Chinese, Check, Yugoslavia, Belgian, Egyptian, Hungarian, Swedish, American and more.
They're all good!

I was curious because I don't have two of any brand. I have a Savage, Marlin, Winchester, Ruger, Mossberg, and a Mosin-Nagant.

Thumbs up

I have a little of everything.
But, I do have nine Marlins, six Mossbergs, six Remingtons, mostly .22 rifles.
And five Mosins, four Mausers, three Enfields.

I try to stick close to Remington, but I'm not that fussy about getting brand name, just quality

out of 41 USSR (Mosin Nagant) is the in the lead with 5...Hi-Point with 4...hummmm Marlin with 2 and just about one of every other manufacture....Includeing and old Sears Shotgun.....only 1 ruger...but I keep it so I can show people the diffrence between a Quality pistol (hi-point) and a way over priced POS (ruger)...... I tend to buy along the lines of Gee Wizzz wow than by name brand.

Hey, Dog, would you be so good as to explain to my wife that 7 rifles an a pistol are "not enough"?

I have a .22 colt, 2 Mosins, a K31, 2 Kentucky rifles, a Hawkins rifle, and an Enfield.
