SlugShooting for Deer? New Skills Test Game

Just dropped in to invite anybody who thinks he's a Slug Gun ace to check out our Association, and perhaps sign up for the competition. Visit our website at www.slugshooting.com for details. We are offering FREE unlimited membership for all active Military and Law Enforcement, with special privileges, exclusive forums, and special discounts on other products. We also offer FREE first year membership to Veterans. (We think those of us who served ought to get a little something back once in a while.)
Also there are regular member chat and forums there, looking for new blood, new posts, etc. Strictly Shotguns, Strictly SlugShooting

Thanks for the info:right:

I'm not sofisticated enough to strive for two inch groups at 100 yards. I'm still using a smooth bore and Foster slugs. About 6 inches at 100 yards is the norm for me.

Love the shotguns :right:

Guess it might benefit some of you to check with the ASSA staff on improving that 3.5 MOA. There are a couple tricks to the game that you're not gonna learn using Rem. sabots. When they shed the plastic the aerodynamics go to pot pretty quick. That's why you'll not get Top Gun without a couple changes.

Had our webmaster on the carpet about that. Now there's an online form. Nothing like having a big bore gun when dealing with the techno-geeks........

Ok, got the down load to work. Thanks. The membership isn't outrageous & I think I qualify for a Veterans year trial ANG with Desert Storm and IF service.

Just a hint. People here are very anti Paypal.

The PayPal links are just for the convenience. We are pretty flexible about taking checks, cash, bartere for ammo, etc. lol

One reason we started the ASSA was to debunk that old "Rifles for targets, shotguns for noise" idea.

We have several members who do near one inch at 50 yards with IRON Sights. So 100yards with a scope and the "Right Tools" is within reach for plenty serious shooters. After all, a lot of Bambi shots are at 75-100 yards, and you can't eat what you can't hit.
