The GunandGame.com Staff

Now in case some things need to be spelled out, not every social generalization is racist. In fact, only very very few here actually are. Advocating extreme force to be used against illegal immigration and looting IS NOT racist. Mocking self proclaimed "black leaders" IS NOT racist. Scorning the fashions of gangbangers, hoodlums, and such IS NOT racist. Believing that there is quality to a cultural, ethnic, and racial identity IS NOT racist.
My experience is that people who say they aren't racist really aren't, simply put. I've seen far more false accusations of racism than false claims not to be racist. Yes racism is still an issue, but it's a two way street, and while some things haven't come far enough, some have gone too far.

To spell out the other highlighted points, trolling is digging for arguing material where it isn't explicitly present. Flaming is erupting into drastic accusations and expressions of rage unbecoming of civil and truthful people. These things can become a game of sorts, but this isn't the place. Remember that this is a PUBLIC forum. There are many places where you are more free to speak your mind than a shopping mall, but even gun shows aren't well served by shouting matches, and I think you would find the presence of anyone trying to start such a verbal fight there to be detracting from your experience there.
Have a hard time picturing such people doing that in person? Consider yourselves lucky. I've seen it. I've had to work with such a person in a volunteer capacity, who thought he could get ahead by constantly flaming at other people and not extracting the same from them.

IF you believe someone is trolling, flaming, or making racist, slanderous, or other comments against forum rules, use the button to report the said post to a moderator. Without trying to be any sort of social masters, we're simply the ones who can do something about the offending post if it is indeed so. Don't think of us as the guys in charge, but as the way to deal with a problem instead of making it worse through escalating post exchanges.

Now let's just keep this in mind and go on with civil posting. Lots of good threads to keep good!

These are the same forum rules we've always had. This thread is meant to remind people of some of the more easily missed points and draw the line a little better as to what is and isn't appropriate.

People who stand for our unabridged right to keep and bear arms in defense of our homes and country and the security of our nation against all foes foreign and domestic are what this forum is all about. Our different views on how to best act on this should be discussed with civility and maturity, and that means honest discussion, not rash accusations and childish insults.

There are NO changes in rules here, just one moderator's attempt to make it clear that we DO have rules on this stuff and they DO apply to recent discussions.

For example, I have no patience for racism. I have even less patience for false accusations of racism. There is absolutely nothing politically correct about that.

If you want an example of what NOT to post, look at threads that have been locked, and look at the big picture, not just the individual posts. Mods here have usually locked threads as opposed to censoring them.

Nobody's being chased down, having their posts aggressively edited or deleted (by me at least), or being threatened with any administrative action.

To all who have neither trolled for an arguement, flamed a board member, cried race, or accused this forum of being politically correct, congratulations, you're part of the solution.

If one of the above applies to you, please choose your words a bit more carefully. They're much easier to hold back than to take back. We're all learning how to get along with each other here. Do your part.

I am impressed with your posts concerning this subject. Your comments were well thought out and clear to understand. I especially like the examples you gave. Now, let's see if they sink in. I will choose my words more carfully in the future. And, I expect action to be taken against those who fail to respect the rights of others here. I liked it much better here, when we were all pretty much of like mind and shared the same concerns for America and Her citizens. Think back to what the "old" G&G was. Isn't that the reason you can here day after day? Now, think about the guys we used to have here. Why do you suppose they are gone? Remember when we were a family? I remember Joe telling me this was his "home." How often does Joe post anymore? I know, just one example. But, I trust I've made my point.

The white and red triangle with an exclamation point is the reporting button.

Once, a while back, someone actually used it on a forum I had moderating priveledges for, and that was about spam.

But, we have it and we may as well get used to it. those who accepted the kick-backs for the purchase of this system invisaioned that the nurses would use it to order stuff and the orders would be charged to the various departments and life was suposedly, going to be easier for us. But, the nurses have gotten away with so much, for so long, they just don't do what is expected. and, no one objects so the hospital is stuck with a huge white elephant that no one uses except the folks in supply. How do I know it is only blacks who have problems? Well, for one thing, i saw how they acted in the school we went to. they were, for lack of a better term, dazed and confused most of the time. In my job, the blacks make so many mistakes, it takes a crew of five to correct these mistakes during free time. Even if one knows the number of the item and, one knows the department codes, it still takes three to five times as long to debit a charge as the old system did (esi). So yes, i can see what the guy is saying but, in all honesty, almost anyone can be trained to use the system, it just is a slow process to use. I'm sure the plant equipment is not so hard to operate that someone cannot be trained. It is my opinion, we don't buy toyotas and maybe he will reconsider his hurtful/disparaging remarks.

I can't remember how many times I've been called an anti-semite just for pointing out well known facts. You tell me who has the bias directed towards whom. And, tell me who has caused all this to come to pass and how was it accomplished. In France, and Germany, and most recently, in Canada it is a crime to speak against the jew.
As for Brady's wench, as you call her, did you know the jew (Sugarman) runs her(?) little group? The rest of your post is completly accurate from my point of view.

just curious
